SAH02 Teach-nology

The influence of technology in our daily life is immense, and its use in education for teachers and students is growing. This 30-hour course therefore aims to embrace the advancing use of technology in education by exposing participants especially student-teachers, teacher trainees or academics to the use of Web 2.0 tools such as Kahoot, Padlet, Schoology and Wordle for exciting and motivating teaching and learning experience. Participants will get to experience hands-on how set up and use such tools especially to promote collaborative learning, active learning, student-centred learning and improve both students and teachers creativity.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to

1. Apply the use of different Web 2.0 tools for teaching and learning
2. Relate the use of Web 2.0 tools to promote collaborative learning, active learning and student-centred learning
3. Apply the use of Web 2.0 tools to improve teaching and learning creativity
